How to Get Your ECU Unlock
Purchase Unlock
Select the appropriate unlock for your engine. All important details can be found in the product description.
Send in the ECU
Pack the ECU carefully and include a printed copy of your order confirmation.
Unlock Process
Once we receive your ECU, we'll inspect it and complete the unlock within 1–2 business days.
Ready for Tuning
As soon as you receive your ECU back, you're ready to begin tuning.
Flashing
After the unlock, you can flash the software to the ECU via OBD2-Port or OBD-Bench setup using the CAN-BUS. You will need a KM eFlash dongle or a J2534-compatible interface, such as the Tactrix Openport 2.0 or Scanmatik. The required Windows software and license will be provided free of charge as part of the unlock service.

This service is intended exclusively for motorsport, research, dyno testing, and development on private property. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

ECU Requirements
We can only process units that meet the following criteria:
Previously opened, tampered with, or modified ECUs will not be processed under any circumstances. If any manipulation is detected, or if the control unit has been previously opened, modified, or is not in its original condition, the unlock will not be performed. In such cases, no refund will be granted.
What If My ECU Can't Be Unlocked?
In very rare cases, the unlock may not be possible due to the software version on your ECU. Unfortunately, this can only be determined during the unlocking process. If this happens, you will receive a full refund for the unlock service – however, shipping costs are not refundable.
